Vision

The vision of the Missouri Denny O’Neil Graphic Novel list is to provide children of Missouri with a recommended reading list of graphic novels that will interest them and enrich their lives. As librarians, we also want to recognize and honor outstanding works in children’s graphic novels.

Criteria

Criteria for Show Me nominees is as follows:

• Books will be of interest to a range of readers in grades PreK-12.
• Books will connect young readers in Missouri with quality graphic novels that will broaden their knowledge of the word and enrich their reading experience.
• Author may be from any country.
